Hero Journey ore chests are one of the largest single injections of ore you'll ever receive — but their value swings wildly depending on when you open them. How Ore Chests Work
The Hero Journey track contains 37 ore chest quest nodes. Each node rewards three chests — one Shiny Ore chest, one Glowy Ore chest, and one Starry Ore chest — for a total of 111 chests across the full track.
Two critical mechanics to understand:
- Chests are earned by completing hero-specific multiplayer quests. You must actually play matches with the designated hero to progress.
- Chest values scale by your Town Hall level at the time you OPEN them, not when you earn them. This is the key insight that makes saving chests a viable strategy.
You have 14 days to complete each quest and another 14 days to claim the chests once earned. Plan accordingly.
